MESSAGE FROM Mayor of Colombo
I am pleased to be informed that the World Congress of the New Age Medicine for the Third Millennium will he held in Sri Lanka and large number of delegates are expected to participate. It will undoubtedly prove to be a historic meeting of practitioners of traditional forms and western medicines. I understand that this important meeting will discuss low best to integrate the usefulness of Natural Medicines with Scientific Allopathic Medicine to serve humanity even batter.
The deliberations of tins Congress and the results that follow will, I am sure, be important strides in that direction. With the escalating upsurge of today's health care costs, natural medicines are an economical mode of therapy.
I wish The Open International University for Complementary Medicines all success in their future endeavors to serve humanity in preventive health, as well as to relieve illness in the Third Millennium.
