I thank you most sincerely for your courtesy call at this Municipal Council and the valuable souvenir presented to me on this historic occasion as a mark of remembrance.

We are very happy to receive your delegation as representatives of Fehring in Austria at our Municipal Office of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia City. Indeed it gives me great pleasure to meet foreign delegates, on goodwill missions, where we could discuss matters relating to common social problems and create mutual understanding world wide.

As the City Father of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia City. I have taken every effort to uplift the living standards of all our citizens living in this Municipal area with the limited financial resources available to us.

We are doing our best to make this city clean and a healthy place in the coming years of the next millennium.

The Open International University for Complementary Medicines situated at Kalubowila in our area is proud icon which has rendered yoeman free service to the poor, indigent and sick of the whole world continuously for more than four decades under the helm of Prof. Anton Jayasuriya.

Once again I thank you whole heartedly for visiting us and presenting a souvenir in remembrance of this occasion and further improve the quality of life of our citizens.
